At 4:00 p.m. my ward was having a flour fight at Smith park. I honestly wasn't too keen on going but my roommates persuaded me into going. We got there and started making little balls of flour by cutting up nylons and stuffing them. We also got put into teams and got ready for battle with face paint. Once dressed the part we all split up into our teams and stood in the field across from one another. We waited for a moment when our leaders came out prepared to get the teams fired up and ready to fight. My team had silver bands and were called the Gondors while the other team had plaid bands and were called the Scottish or something like that. In the end the battle was pretty gruesome and there were many injured but no worries because all lived to enjoy the feast that followed after. All in all I had a lot of fun and am really glad I went.
Last on today's list of events was going to see the movie Inception at the cheap theater for $3. I had never seen the movie and had heard nothing but good things about it so I was pretty excited to go. I went with a bunch of people which made the experience that much better minus the fact that nearly everyone had already seen it once or twice before. Oh well I really liked the movie and would have no problem watching again.
A fun filled day, though not so productive...it happens :)
