Ug! I really dislike it when I really need to get something done when all of a sudden I have absolutely no energy and cannot stay awake for the life of me. This obviously renders me useless, which is really obnoxious. The sad part is I have only been to one class and still have three more to go plus a performance show tonight at 7 in which I don't know as well as I would like. I am so tired right now and still have a spanish assignment due in 20 minutes 'sigh'.
Also to top everything off the semester is coming to a close way too fast and I have so much to do. I like the fact that there are only three months in the semester because that means being in school less, but on the other hand that just means that there is less time to catch up on anything missed in the beginning of the semester to boost grades.
Finally my one roommate is leaving school early to go home tomorrow so she can help take care of some things back home, which is no good (selfish I know). She is way cool and I wont get to see or talk to her in person till next fall. Well, I might actually get to see you before she goes back to school in April. Either way I guess in situations like that I am grateful for technology such as skype, facebook, e-mail, and this here blog.

Spanish Class Cancelled! That's A First.
WOOO! So today started out as a normal day. I got up, got dressed, didn't have time to eat anything (go figure), and went out the door. Today in my first class (Interpersonal Communications) I had a two page assignment due. So this morning I left my apartment early enough so that I would have time to go to the library and print out the assignment in time for me to get to class. Lucky for me the computer at the library was being absolutely ridiculous making printing out a simple two page assignment, which should have only taken five minutes tops into fifteen minutes. This made me about twenty minutes late for class! So not cool. Anyway I went to class just to find out that the assignment wasn't going to be due until Wednesday! I mean I guess on the bright side I don't have to worry about it because it's already written and printed, thank goodness. Now hopefully I wont find a way to magically lose it between now and then.
After my first class I normally have an hour to do whatever I need to do before my spanish class and head off to the library. Today I was in the library eating some crackers (didn't eat breakfast and was famished) and checking my e-mail. There was a lot of spam mail that I didn't care about as usual, but as I was going over my e-mail my eyes came across an e-mail from my spanish teacher; I was way intrigued. I opened the e-mail and to my utter excitement saw that my class had been canceled due to my teacher being ill. Don't get me wrong, I feel bad about my teacher not feeling well, but at the same time I am way happy that I don't have class! The good thing about today is that I have a test I need to study for and now have all day (until three) to study for it.
Anyway that was my exciting news of the day. I know I have been bad about writing on my blog so I figured this was something :)

Extreme UNO! ! !
So, while at home I was introduced to Extreme UNO. Basically it is regular UNO only the winner gets to draw on the losers face with lipstick. While out here at school I went out to go buy some cheap red lipstick and brought it back to the apartment to play with a group of friends. The game ended up taking forever, but in the end I was victorious! After I won everyone else was pretty much in the game, so I sat around for a while until there was a loser. In the end my roommate Thanuja ended up losing, which was fine by me because I got to whip out the lipstick and paint on her face. Oh and when painting on the loser's face the person drawing can only draw until they accidentally lift up the lipstick from off of the loser's face. It was funny because when I went to go paint on Thanuja's face she started to freak out and every time I went in to paint she would back up and start laughing ridiculously. Because she would not cooperate Moises had to come hold her in place, which kind of worked but not completely. In the end she surrendered and I got to paint all up on her face. All in all it was mucho divertido (a lot of fun).
This is Thanuja freaking out and me happy as can be with my weapon of choice.
Thanuja not accepting her fate as loser.
Reinforcements
The drawing begins

And it continues.
My victory pose, Thanuja scarred, and Moises smiling at Thanuja's misfortune.
BAHAHAHAHA!!! This is my art work. Awesome right?
Thanuja looking happy as a clam

After I painted all over Thanuja's face I felt I should go help her take it off, so while we were doing that these fools took it upon themselves to take some of their own pictures.

Goals for the New Year
Alright, so here are some of my goals for the year 2010...
-Don't sleep in and get to all classes on time. (not likely but it's a work in progress)
-Go to the gym at least four times a week and work out for an hour.
-Eat healthy and STOP eating out so much. (Dang you Taco Bell with your low prices and fairly delicious food!)
-Get nothing less than a solid B in all my classes this semester (will cry if I don't make this happen)
-Meet new people.
-Stop watching so much dang t.v.
-Keep in better contact with my family. (calling more than once a month)
-Quit relying on technology for entertainment as much.
-Become a better church member. (Read scriptures and pray more often)
-Get a job and become a millionaire. (Not very likely but I do what I want)

Dreaded School
Arg! Alright so I am having a bit of trouble this semester in that it is only the second day of classes and I already have a bad case of the skips. Pretty much meaning that I have little to no desire to go to classes this semester, which is no good. Though, on the bright side today I went to my communications class and I found it to be quite entertaining (the teacher). Based off today's class it seems like it is going to be a pretty good class and my teacher is fairly funny. So all in all I am looking forward to this class even though there is absolutely no late work accepted, which is no good for me seeing as how my life at this point is all about late this and late that.
Well, I am glad to know that one class might be good but on the other hand I am quite nervous about attending my spanish class this afternoon . I like learning spanish, I really do it's just that I have super awful studying habits and can never get myself to study quite as much as I would like. Other than my atrocious study habits, I feel as though I can't quite keep up in class due to the rapid speed in which we learn to get all the information taught by the end of the semester. I am someone who takes a while to get information ingrained in their brain, which is really frustrating sometimes, making me feel some what unintelligent. Oh well, all I know is that one day (hopefully sooner rather than later) I will be able to speak fluent spanish!!!
Other than those two classes I don't really know about my other ones seeing as how I haven't been to them yet, so hopefully they will be good.

My New & Ridiculously Cute Baby Nephew
JOYOUS DAY!!! Just the other day I went to the Madison hospital here in Rexburg to see my new baby nephew!!! My brother Ryan and I went but couldn't go till later that evening because I had an awesome spanish test to take that ended up not being so good. So Ryan and I got to the hospital and walked in where we asked the front desk what room our brother Jason and sister-in-law Lindsey were. We were told to take the elevator to the second floor and then take another to the third floor where the room was. When we got into the first elevator it smelled so good, like Christmas or something. I can honestly say it was the best smelling elevator ever. Anyway it took us a little bit to find the room because we were told a certain room by the front desk person and then when we got to that room we were told that they had changed rooms so Ryan and I had to go looking once again for the right room. On the way there we saw this crazy door that was about a foot off the ground. It was so goofy so I had Ryan take a picture by the door which was funny. After goofing around, taking pictures Ryan and I finally arrived at the right room. We walked in and saw Lindsey lying down on the bed holding her brand new baby boy and Jason was sitting in the seat right next to the bed. It was really nice to visit with Jason and Lindsey, talking about how everything went and how it felt to have a kid etc. After we talked for a little Lindsey asked me if I wanted to hold the baby and I said yes right away. He was so so so soooooo ridiculously cute. He was very content which made the visit all the better because it meant that I got to hold him longer. It was really cute when he was sleeping and we would take picture with the flash on or would go near the light that he would scrunch his little face up. After holding him for a while Lindsey asked Ryan if he wanted to hold the baby but Ryan said that he was fine and didn't need to hold the baby which made no sense to me but he is a guy so ya know, once again it just meant that I got to be super greedy and hold the baby even longer. Over all the trip went really well. I am so grateful to have my two little nephews who I absolutely love to death. I especially can't wait for my other two nephews to be born in the next few months!!! I love being an aunt!

Cookies Gone Wrong
Alright well, the other day I was supposed to bring something into my class to eat while we watched a very educational movie so I planned on bringing some cookies. Anyway so I had some time in the morning before class to make the very tasty and delicious cookies. As I was getting all the ingredients together I got a phone call and figured that I could multitask, I could talk and bake at the same time, which in the end turned out to be not such a good idea. Well while I was talking I was making the dough, adding things here and there. Finally I was ready to put the cookie dough on the pan but I noticed that the dough seemed a little softer than usual for the cookie recipe that I used but didn't really think much of it. So I put all the dough onto the cookie sheet and put it in the oven for about ten minutes or so, all the while I was still talking on the phone. When I went to go check on the cookies I looked into the oven and saw that the cookie dough while cooking had spread into one big rectangular cookie that did not look very appealing. Also while the dough had spread out the chocolate chips in each cookie remained in the center where I had origionally put them -_-. I was so confused as to what had happened but couldn't figure it out so I blamed it on the oven in which my room mates just made fun of me for even trying to get away with that excuse. Later when I was telling one of my room mates that it was the oven that messed the cookies up I told her that I could prove that I did everything right and went to show her the ingredients list. Right as I looked at the ingredients I noticed that the recipe called for one more cup of flour than I had mixed in origionally. My room mate just laughed at me and told me that I was a dork. It was pretty embarrassing but, on the bright side regardless of how nasty the cookies looked they tasted pretty dang good so, everyone ate them all. By the end of the next day there was not one bit left of the cookies, turned giant cookie that I made which, made me quite happy. Now I know that talking on the phone and baking do not go very well together...or at least for me ^_^
Here are some pictures of the cookies I made.
This was the less good looking pan of cookies I made. Everyone was a little hesitant to try this pan of cookies.

This was the most accepted pan of cookies I guess because they didn't look as burnt as the other pan.
