Temple Square and Provo Trip

So, I meant to write about this earlier but as usual I am a little on the a.d.d. side and got distracted. Anyway a few weekends ago I went on a trip with my two friends, Neill and Moises to Utah. We went to Provo and spent time with Moises' two younger sisters, Virginia and Megan. After hanging out with them at the mall we dropped them off and then headed on over to the much awaited visit to Temple Square. Also while we were at Temple Square we took a little tour of the Conference Center which was pretty hoppin. The only down side was not being able to go off on my own a look around. Apparently do to mischievous children causing trouble they made a rule where you have to stay with your tour guide...lame-sauce. Anyway, it was a really good trip and I had a lot of fun. Halloween

Wow, so this is from a while ago but better late then never I suppose. For Halloween this fine October 30th my friends and I all got dressed up and headed over to the ward party. We actually got there a little late and things had begun to wind down. Regardless we still had a decent time. To be honest the ward parties are never very climactic but that's what friends are for. After the ward party we headed back to the apartment where we hung out and played video games for the remainder of the night. It was pretty funny because we played Mario Kart the whole time and everyone was really into it. People were smack talking, screaming, and jumping all over the place among many other things. All in all it was a fun Halloween just spending time with friends.

Ward Flour Fight & Night Out at the Movies

Haha today was a pretty hoppin day. To start the day off I didn't get up until 11 in the morning. Honestly I usually like getting up around nine or ten but 11 worked out alright. A few minutes after being up I got a phone call from one of my friends asking if I wanted to skype. We got online and talked for a bit but then decided to play some games online. We first played chess where I was dominated and then we played dominoes. Dominoes went over a lot better seeing as how I won two out of four games which left me quite pleased with myself. We were supposed to have one last match to determine the winner but we have yet to battle it out for the winner.

At 4:00 p.m. my ward was having a flour fight at Smith park. I honestly wasn't too keen on going but my roommates persuaded me into going. We got there and started making little balls of flour by cutting up nylons and stuffing them. We also got put into teams and got ready for battle with face paint. Once dressed the part we all split up into our teams and stood in the field across from one another. We waited for a moment when our leaders came out prepared to get the teams fired up and ready to fight. My team had silver bands and were called the Gondors while the other team had plaid bands and were called the Scottish or something like that. In the end the battle was pretty gruesome and there were many injured but no worries because all lived to enjoy the feast that followed after. All in all I had a lot of fun and am really glad I went.

Last on today's list of events was going to see the movie Inception at the cheap theater for $3. I had never seen the movie and had heard nothing but good things about it so I was pretty excited to go. I went with a bunch of people which made the experience that much better minus the fact that nearly everyone had already seen it once or twice before. Oh well I really liked the movie and would have no problem watching again.

Just threw up a moment ago...not fun. Being sick is first and foremost one of the lamest things EVER!!!

Walk-In Taco Bus

Last week was the week of the walk-in taco bus. Maybe it was the insanely cheap prices, the large portions, or the flavor, who knows. All I know is that it was good all around Hispanic food. Anyway I went to the taco bus with my two roommates Indy and Steffi. It was fun because this was the first time I went to a taco bus in which you actually walk in the bus to the back to order as opposed to just ordering from a window outside the bus. While in the bus we looked at the menu and all ended getting a little somethin somethin called a Macho Burrito for $5 plus a Sidral Mundet (apple soda). After we got our food we left for Porter park. It was a really nice day; perfect for an early dinner outside. We picked a bench and just visited with one another and ate our food. It was a lot of fun. Here are some pics.
